meghan&van pt.1 // the coffee shop {fargo, north dakota engagement photography}

Meghan and Van are planning a June wedding in Bismark, North Dakota, yet they were kind enough to meet me halfway in Fargo for their engagement photos this past weekend. On a crisp and sunny Saturday morning, we started out at a local coffee and pastry shop in downtown Fargo before we roamed the streets and visited the park and Dairy Queen (more of that later). love! cassie & willy {zimmerman, minnesota engagement photography}

These two are getting married in July but opted for an autumn engagement shoot--it's always fun to change things up like that. Our session was the morning before our first snow, and it was coooold. By the end of the shoot my fingers were numb but it was well worth it!
Their wedding theme and colors are inspired by Americana, which fits perfectly--Cassie and Willy are relaxed, fun, and gosh, don't they just make you wanna snuggle up with a loved one under a handmade patchwork quilt?
